Usually late spring and for the autumn we invite to Kierzbun artists and people who want to be tought. In 1-2 weeka time they paint paintings, aquareles, sculpture, wrought iron, made argil. Artistic atmosphere is all around our stable. Topics are different.
Artists are stimulated mainly through landviews, rich history of our possesion, rarely horses. It is a shame. Artists are impressed of beauty terrains around stable and this impression is shown on paintings.
After every open-air event they are leaving us the fruits of their work which are shown in our stable, even rooms for guests. We have a great semtiment to those works because every of them is a piece of our Kierzbun.
Some of those works are for sale, but one of them will stay with us forever. This is a sculpture 3 - 4 m height showing knight Bartolomeus von Kirschbaum, founder of Kierzbun. Bartolomeus stands on the arrival to our stable. In his visualisation the biggest part had a wind which broke a tree from valley leading to our stable.
On the last open-air event there was 13 people. They left painting with land views and horses and sculptures: naked woman and horse's head. Exhibition was presented during GREAT KIERZBUN DERBY, summarising sport season 2001. We hope it will be in a permanent calendar of Kierzbun events! I was also invited to paint !... When I was 14 years old I was drawing faces, now I have started my firs fainting of my daughter!
